Retail Asset Solutions provides stocktaking, asset management and supply chain services to retailers and businesses across various industries. The company were looking for some eye-catching branded pens with solid eco credentials that they could give away at exhibitions and the the Skye Bio was selected.
From quote, order confirmation and visual proof, our team worked with RAS to establish the most effective product, print method and design, keeping a close eye on the required dispatch date.
Skye Bio is manufactured in Germany and branded in the UK, with measures taken throughout production to reduce emissions and offset carbon emissions.
Effectively made from Sugar Cane, the casing of the pen is sourced from certified GMO-free sugar cane cultivation to make PLA (polyactic) a bio based material.
This means that the pens are technically biodegradable when placed in commercial systems and are considered much better for the environment compared to virgin plastic pens imported from China.
To further support RAS in selecting a pen (along with our Recycled Plastic Pens) that we consider to be better for the environment compared to many of the most common pens on the market, we arranged for a tree to be planted on their behalf.
