The Cambridge Earthenware mugs were first printed to the Pantone colours from the Capital FM brand guidelines to ensure a consistent colour across the order and against other printed collateral. Following the glazing process and drying time, the mugs were then screen printed with the Capital FM logo which also included the smaller frequency details of the South Wales station.
With several production processes, large print area and the detail elements of the logo, each mug was individually checked before being packaged with usage guidance for recipients and confirmation that the drinkware is dishwasher safe.
The use of the outer colour against the white insides of the mug with white print is an effective use of the brand that adds to the quality of the printed mug, ensuring it stands out in a busy environment.
Following positive feedback from the marketing team at Capital FM further orders have been placed alongside several other items that clearly communicate the identity of the radio brand.
