We were delighted to work with True Student to produce a range of full-colour printed festival cups for this year’s Nottingham Varsity Series Ice Hockey Match, held at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Monday 10 February 2025.
As one of the biggest fixtures in the local student sporting calendar, the annual Varsity Ice Hockey event brings together fans from the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University for an action-packed evening of university-level sport and vibrant atmosphere.
For the occasion, we produced UKCA-certified reusable pint cups, printed in vibrant full-colour wraparound designs featuring the True Student branding.
As with all premises serving alcohol, certification was essential to allow the Motorpoint Arena to use the cups for measuring pint and half-pint drinks in compliance with their licence agreement.
The branded cups provided a professional, eye-catching alternative to single-use drinkware, perfectly suited to a high-energy arena environment.
Designed to promote the True Student brand while encouraging sustainability, the cups doubled as a lasting keepsake for attendees to take home.
Each reusable cup combined practicality with maximum brand visibility throughout the venue, reinforcing True Student’s commitment to supporting student life in a fun and environmentally conscious way.
Alongside the cups, we also produced printed foam fingers and a selection of other supporting printed materials to help True Student create a lively and engaging fan experience at the event.
The Nottingham Varsity Series Ice Hockey Match once again proved a huge success, with thousands of students in attendance and plenty of cheers for both sides.
We were proud to see our printed products in the hands of fans throughout the Motorpoint Arena, adding a touch of colour and creativity to one of Nottingham’s most anticipated student events.
