Our designer Sam was going on holiday, so to make sure he didn’t forget us, we sent him with one of our Promotional Power Banks for him to review as he explored Budapest with his wonderful girlfriend Laura.
There’s nothing worse than going to a different country, stuck with nowhere to go, and you’re on less than 5% on your phone battery and you need to check the directions back to your hotel. That’s exactly what happened to my girlfriend and I, when we went to Budapest. Luckily, we had The Air Power Bank with us.
When you’re out and about, you don’t realise how much power you’re using on your phone. Taking photos, using maps, sending a tweet, sharing a selfie, it all starts to add up. We both left the hotel in the morning with around 80%-90% charge on our phones. We planned to go towards Budapest Parliament, and a few stops on the way, and to grab some lunch (plus a wrong turn – my fault if you were to ask Laura…)
Charging your phone on the go…
Just over the halfway point, Laura’s phone was on 12% so we decided to give the power bank a go. The great thing about this power bank is it displays the percentage of how much charge the power bank has. We plugged it in and it had over 90% charge. With its slimline design, it also fits great in your pocket next to your phone too.
On our stop off for a coffee and some food, the phone managed to reach 45% which means we could find out the route back to the hotel (Laura didn’t trust my way back since I went the wrong way, apparently…).
When we got back to the hotel, we put the power bank back on charge. The bank was on around 50% which was just enough to charge my own phone as well, but as we didn’t need it, we put it back on charge. The charge time for the power bank is surprisingly quick, after about an hour of charging, it was back up to 100% and ready to go again.
Air Powerbank Holiday Test
Overall, we had a really good trip, with a nifty gadget, especially if you’re in a city abroad you don’t know where you’re going!
The Slimline Air hosts a 4000 mAh battery which can charge most standard mobile phone devices.
Available in a range of colours including silver, black and gold, the promotional product is usually laser engraved with a clients company logo or icon.
The digital display helps users track battery levels and ensure they keep power throughout their day.
